1998-2008 гг. для Европейского союза и его государств-членов, хотя
некоторые показатели приводятся и для других стран, таких, как страны-кандидаты
в Европейский союз, члены ЕАСТ, Япония или Соединенные Штаты. Ежегодник
представляет информацию по следующим направлениям: экономика, население,
здравоохранение, образование, рынок труда; условия жизни и благосостояние,
