Cтатистическая публикация, посвященная положению детей в Азербайджане, включает следующие разделы: демографические показатели, образование, условия жизни населения, медицинские и профилактические услуги, социальное обеспечение, заболеваемость и смертность, преступность, а также данные экономических и административных городов и районов. Публикация в основном охватывает период за 1990-2018 годы.

В сборник также включена информация о размере детей, показателях рождаемости, смертности и естественного прироста, а также показатели по дошкольным учреждениям, общеобразовательным школам, заболеваниям детей по включены в этот ежегодник.

Каждый раздел издания содержат методологические пояснения понятий и определений.
