  • Demographic results for the first half of 2022 in Russia. Part 1
    • Population decline in the first half of the year is observed for the sixth year in a row; in 2022 it increased by 1.5 times compared to the same period in 2021
    • Intensity of natural decline decreased slightly in January-June 2022, but was reinforced by migration outflow
    • According to estimates at the beginning of 2022, children under the age of 15 make up 17.7% of the Russian population, people 65 and older - 16.0%
    • In first half of 2022 the number of births decreased by 6.3%
    • Total fertility in last three years remains at 1.5 children per woman
    • The number of registered marriages in January-June 2022 increased by 0.2%, divorces by 3.3%
