  • Net migration in Russia in 2011 amounted to 320000 people according to the new rules of counting and 107000 people counted the old way
  • The highest net migration for the years 2003-2011 was between Russia and Uzbekistan - 274000 people
  • The number of migrants who changed their residence within the borders of Russia in 2011, according to the new rules of counting exceeded 3 million and a million less counted the old way
